I don’t know about you, but I would like for this winter we have had to git!! Seriously, all I want to see is spring temps across the area and it looks like we might get some of that this week. For today and tomorrow though, this pesky wedge will hold tight and continue to keep us cold with temps in the 50’s expected. Take a look at where that area of low pressure will be at 7am tomorrow and you will see what is a classic wedge for tomorrow. We can expect to see the clouds linger as well as some light rain and some chilly temps, check out the EURO’s version of high temps for tomorrow afternoon which keeps in the 50’s and even a few 40’s.
Yeah, that is not a spring looking temperature map for tomorrow afternoon. The good news is that over the next few days we will see the wedge break and temps beginning to warm into the 60’s and yes even the 70’s as we head into the weekend!! Morning lows across the board will all be in the 40’s and above freezing for all of the region. I would HIGHLY advise not planting anything until at least the middle of April!
