Friday Morning Weather Update for The Holiday Weeknend

There is a big old area of low pressure out to the west that will be bringing the chance of severe weather to the plains the next few days, this will also be bringing our chance of rain back up as well. For the most part this weekend will be partly cloudy and warm with highs in the 80’s, but there will be weak disturbances coming off that low that will pop some scattered afternoon t-storms every day this weekend.

Today – Partly cloudy and hot with an afternoon high of 90, winds from the NW 10-16

Tonight – Mainly clear with an overnight low in the upper 60’s, light winds from the NW

Saturday – Partly cloudy with a 30% chance of afternoon t-storms, highs in the 80’s

Sunday – Partly cloudy with a 30% chance of afternoon t-storms, highs in the 80’s

Memorial Day – Partly cloudy with a 30% chance of afternoon t-storms, highs in the 80’s

Please share the blogs and tell your friends so you can spread the word about my daily forecasts and science updates. I will be starting more things like weekend lake forecasts, Friday night football forecasts as well as travel to the beach forecasts.

Thanks again!!
